Roche Diagnostics Management Centre South Africa is seeking a Head of Sales to manage sales operations across all business areas according to the overall marketing strategy. The successful candidate will be required to establish commercial priorities and guarantee the strategic focus with the right resources allocation. The successful candidate will be tasked with driving business success by defining and implementing local sales plans under the condition of a sustainable business model based on innovation and efficiency.
Among other responsibilities, the role will entail:
•Translating local marketing strategy into operational sales plans.
•Establishing commercial priorities, ensuring business focus and the right resource allocation.
•Implementing and monitoring necessary activities to meet strategic KPIs; and if needed, take corrective actions.
•Achieving commercial success of new products in the market with a sound planning and the appropriate resources allocation.
•Pro-actively addressing to the Market Access Manager new business opportunities and possible lab consultancy projects.
•Maintaining best-in-class working relationships with customers and business partners.
•Staying close to customers through regular presence on the market, evaluating trends and assessing risks and new business opportunities.
•Ensuring compliance with pricing strategy and positioning.
•Controlling the sales budget and resources allocation.
•Guaranteeing the activity planning/reporting by the field team on the CRM system.
•Ensuring tender preparation accuracy.
•Ensuring effective Sales Force steering and development of the team.
•Respecting compliance with all relevant Roche guidelines and policies and ensuring the compliance of the team.
